The Insurance Process
Inspection
We recommend having one of our roofing experts inspect the full exterior of your home to confirm if enough storm damage is present to move forward with filing your claim. At times, there may be minimal damage that the cost of repair does not exceed the amount of your deductible. We'll let you know if there is enough storm damage to file your claim.
File Your Claim
When the carrier's estimate is provided, we'll review to ensure that the proper scope of work and line items are accounted for. We will match the insurance proceeds for the scope laid out so that you only have to pay for your deductible and any upgrades that you may choose.
Schedule Adjustor Meeting
The adjuster will contact you to schedule their inspection. Let us know when they plan on being there so that we can meet with them during the inspection.
Adjustor Meeting
We'll meet with the adjuster and make sure that we show them any and all damage that we found during our inspection. If they are the ones that will be writing the estimate, we'll also discuss the scope of work needed to return the property to its pre-loss condition.
Review Carrier's Estimate
When the carrier's estimate is provided, we'll review to ensure that the proper scope of work and line items are accounted for. We will match the insurance proceeds for the scope laid out so that you only have to pay for your deductible and any upgrades that you may choose.
Complete Scope of Work
After the scope is confirmed and you've signed final paperwork, we'll complete the repairs in a timely manner.
Final Payment from Carrier
Once the work is complete, we'll provide final invoice and certificate of completion to your carrier at which point they'll release their final payment.
